Margot worked alongside the managing director of BP Global to oversee the transatlantic merger of BP and Amoco. She worked with the board, top team and administrators to get Pasminco out of administration to be refloated as Zinifex, which then transformed into Oz Minerals and Nystrar, turning Pasminco from a company owing $3.6 billion to 36 different lenders into 2 global companies each worth $8 billion.
Margot’s international career began when her client Portland Aluminium Smelter was named the world
benchmark for an aluminium smelter.
